A man has been charged in a federal court in Melbourne with buying drugs for a sexual relationship, after he was arrested and charged with selling prescription drugs and selling counterfeit drugs in the United States.
The case was prosecuted by a U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) unit.
The drug-selling operation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which is led by Michael L. Smith, who is also the acting head of the HSI unit.
During the operation, the seller, Michael Smith, admitted to selling the drugs at prices of $30 each, including Viagra, Lipitor, Xanax and other drugs that the seller had ordered from the U. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
